DotNet3.5 CF required on windows mobile device except WM6.5 |
The application is running on top of DotNet3.5 CF. This is already installed on WM6.5 and newer but not on WM6.1 or older. So it might be required depending on your WM version to install that first on your mobile device. You can download the DotNet3.5 CF hereYou application is a msi file that must be downloaded to you XP/Vista PC. If you are using active sync of microsoft you must connect with the device before running the msi file on your XP/Vista PC. You will also be able to find the cab file in the
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\CompactFramework\v3.5\WindowsCE"
directory in case you are not using active sync. Depending on your device you will need to run one of the following cab files on your device
NETCFv35.ppc.armv4.cab (for pocket pc's like HP IPAQ rx5900)
NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab (for windows mobile phones)
The NETCFv35.xxx cab files must be installed on the device and not in on any storage card. The mobile traveler application on the otherhand must be installed on a storage card (that is write enabled). |
